மதுரா : சென்ற மாதம் மதுராவில் நடைபெற்ற தொடர் குண்டு வெடிப்பில் தொடர்புடையதாக விசுவ இந்து பரிஷத் தலைவர் ஜெகதிஷ் அனந்த் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
கடந்த மே 30 அன்று மதுராவில் சிறுபான்மையினர் அதிகம் வசிக்கும் கோசிகலன் பகுதியில் 4 குண்டுகள் அடுத்தடுத்து வெடித்தன.
இக்குண்டுகளை தயாரித்தது மற்றும் குண்டுகளை வைத்ததாக மதுரா விசுவ இந்து பரிஷத் தலைவர் ஜெகதிஷ் அனந்த் காவல்துறையால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
குண்டு வெடிப்பின் போது ஜெகதிஷ் அவ்விடத்தில் இருந்ததை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் சிசிடிவி ஆவணங்கள் உள்ளதாக கூறும் காவல்துறையினர் மத கலவரத்தை உண்டாக்க ஜெகதிஷ் முயன்றதாக கூறுகின்றனர்.
கடந்த ஆண்டு இதே பகுதியில் நடந்த கலவரத்திற்கு விசுவ இந்து பரிஷத்தே காரணம் என்று அப்போதே முஸ்லீம் அமைப்பை சார்ந்தவர்கள் குற்றம் சாட்டியது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
கடந்த ஆண்டு நடந்த கலவரத்தில் பர்ஸானாவின் இரு மருமகன்கள் மற்றும் சலாஹூத்தின் உள்ளிட்ட நால்வர் எரித்து கொல்லப்பட்டனர்.
அப்போதே இக்கலவரத்திற்கு காரணமானவராக பிஜேபி உள்ளூர் தலைவர் பகத் பிராசாத்தை குற்றம் சாட்டி பிரபல நீதிபதி ராஜேந்தர் சச்சார் தலைமையிலான குழு அறிக்கை சுமத்தியதும் அவ்வறிக்கையின் மேல் எவ்வித நடவடிக்கையும் எடுக்கப்படாதது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

VHP leader arrested for serial blasts in Mathura
LUCKNOW: Jagdish Anant, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s( VHP’s) district president of Mathura, has been arrested on charges of engineering serial blasts in Kosi Kalanarea of Mathuraon May 30.
Senior suprintendent of police of Mathura, RKS Rathore, when contacted, confirmed arrest of Anant but denied any communal motive. “It was turning into a communal issue but we managed to bring things under control. Our investigation has revealed that the blasts were minor in nature and bombs were like fire crackers. It was a mischievous act done to protest poor power supply in the area,” he said. He also described Anant as a small leader.
However, muslim clerics of the area have alleged that people associated sangh parivarar were responsible not only for the blasts aimed to terrorise people but also for the riots which took place in Kosikalan last year in June. Four people had died in the violence which triggered after a youth washed his hands in the water kept outside a religious place for those coming to offer prayers.
Muslim clerics alleged that they had informed the Akhilesh Yadav government but it took no action. BJP leaders, on the other hand, accused Muslim hardliners for the blasts and riots. They described arrest as a conspiracy hatched by the Samajwadi Party government led by Akhilesh Yadav which is resorting to minority appeasement. Some VHP, BJP and Bajrag Dal activists also protested Anant’s arrest.
